Came across this talented duo today whilst perusing the net on search for something entirely unrelated... 

Claire Naa and Arnaud Soulignac and their fun Origami Jewellery range! 

I know Origami has been done to death BUT these two have gone a wee bit further than just the traditional swan... LOOK at the amazing Triceratops necklace I must have!  

If you live in Welly NZ, (which lets be honest it's entirely possible not a single one of you does...) you may have come across the Wellington Zoo posters.

I L O V E these, the illustrative techniques are awesome -I want to rip down each one I see and steal them away to put on my walls!

It took  me a while to find but I soon discovered the illustrator is Christian Montenegro (who's other work is also fantastic!!!) however he's from Argentina... I'd have thought being Wellington the capital of NZ we would perhaps look at using an NZ illustrator?... but then again we would have missed out on these! So I'm not fussed either way so long as I get to feast my eyes upon these beauties!

Yay! look what arrived! (way before the due date of the 21st might I add!). Am quite impressed with the quality of them too, however they are a bit on the small side and cropped a fair amount of the image on the front so I'd erase the left over bumble bee on the top right but it's a learning curve I guess...

Now I just need to actually get my act together!
