D A V I DD A V I D

David Saunders is all about Print. Print is David David.

An amazing designer who hails from East London, his prints are bold, bright, and fresh. Simple geometrics or splashes of carefully considered colour hand drawn or stamped on white garments allowing the print to be the main attraction.

D I G I Time

So I've been researching a bit on finally getting some of my prints digitally printed for a range of scarves (actually have no clue whatsoever on how to market/sell them at this point -it's currently more about the manufacture of said pieces and whether or not I can get it done easily and relatively cheaply... hmmm), during said research I've stumbled upon the works of Irish Textile Designer Lisa Ryder a London based designer with some great graphic prints she's put onto scarves, take a wee peek

Am well gutted that Luella no longer creates the above master pieces, almost ended up buying the dress on the very left at TK Max the other day, so pretty and flirty -desperately wanted it yet my bank account did not. (even though it was extremely well below the original price!). Luella come back! oooo and check out those shoes!

And the winner of my favourite designer award goes to....... Christopher Kane, you've done it again and got me all inspired. Stunningly gorgeous galaxy prints from his 2011 resort collection. WANT!

Don't really need to say much about these as I'm fairly certain they speak volumes about themselves... however I will point out how much I LOVE THEM! Still amazing pieces coming out of the Alexander McQueen name by unbelievable designer Sarah Burton, S/S 2011.

(Paticularly want/must have/will kill for the skirt of the garment bottom mid)

B A T H

Whoops, it's been a while and I've no excuse! However I can now say I've been outside London! okay so it was only to Bath but still I'm starting with the travel... Bath was pretty amazing -as if someone picked up a small part of Rome and accidently dropped it in England. The history and culture of the Roman baths was pretty neat, did spend an hour and a half waiting in line to hit the Thermae Spa but it was worth it for the scented steam rooms -everyone should have a peppermint steam, absolutely beautiful!
