First up I'm going to gush about Ashleigh Smith grad from Heriot Watt Uni and her colourful contemporary digital patterns. LOVE THEM.One thing that was glaringly obvious with all of the universities -they have really pushed the boundaries of Digital design which is great but it actually made you think oh no there's too much of it, everyone is doing the same thing! So I found myself drawn more towards the simple digital repeats like Ashleighs above which tend to focus on vector geometric imagery rather than the collaged photo techniques many employed. (However I'm not going to bash it too much as there were some AMAZING pieces of the latter).
